Harm Reduction

Harm reduction is working with sex workers and people who use drugs to ensure that they are using correctly and safely. This entails treating people without judgement and making sure they have the resources and education they need in order to keep themselves safe while using drugs or doing sex work.

Mutual Aid

I believe in mutual aid over charity! Mutual aid is when a community supports itself. This looks like food distributions, clothing drives, harm reduction, outreach and disaster relief. Mutual aid is a collaborative and often non profit effort, as opposed to charity which is when an organization picks and chooses who to give aid to while making monetary gain.
